April 2009

Nedbank Home Loans recently introduced an additional value proposition to the market whereby the Bank will assist and enable the successful conclusion of PIP (Properties in Possession) sales through a centralised call centre.
In addition to the communication dated the 2nd of April 2009 it is hereby confirmed that Nedbank Home Loans will be offering a 95% loan offering to qualified buyers as of the 20th of April 2009.

PROCESS GUIDELINES & TERMS OF BUSINESS:

Please note that the offering does not supersede existing credit rules and process guidelines and will only be applicable to qualified buyers of Nedbank Owned Properties which can be obtained at www.nedbank.co.za.

Vacant land is included as part of the offering for qualifying buyers.

They obviously realise that they're still going to be repossessing a whole lot of properties...

Unbelievable, I cannot believe that there are so much less PIP than in 1999.

I wonder if it is because there are more property investors buying up these PIP’s or there are more investors finding the people in distress before the bank does a repossession? Like myself.
